This Belgian Abbey Style Tripel ale has a robust smooth, fruity, 3 grain (oats barley and wheat) character. The beer receives it final fermentation in the bottle. Brewed with pride and patience after the Carmeliet tradition dating back as far as 1679. A 100% natural beer
Impressive fluffy, lasting, “stand up out of the glass” variable bubbled, white head. The beer itself is a faintly hazy gold, desert wine colour. Medium strong citrus, hops, caramel, doughy grainy malt and spicy fruit aroma. The high carbonation and yeastiness with hints of honey and tropical fruity flavours produces a tingling intense sweet sour bitter start. A freshly brewed bottle of this beer is truly a unique experience.

Avec Les Bon Voeux - a 9.5% ABV super-saison in the top 99.4% of saisons according to ratebeer.com. This beer originated in 1970, when Dupont began brewing a special beer as a new years present for their most loyal customers (the name literally translates to "with the best wishes of the brewery Dupont"). The demand for the beer was so large as to necessitate a reservations list - some customers placing their orders months before the new year! Thankfully the beer is now brewed year round, albeit in limited quantities. Having sampled a few of these since their arrival, we can tell you that with each mouthful we fall more in love with this beer.
