This Belgian Abbey Style Tripel ale has a robust smooth, fruity, 3 grain (oats barley and wheat) character. The beer receives it final fermentation in the bottle. Brewed with pride and patience after the Carmeliet tradition dating back as far as 1679. A 100% natural beer
Tasting Notes:
Impressive fluffy, lasting, “stand up out of the glass” variable bubbled, white head. The beer itself is a faintly hazy gold, desert wine colour. Medium strong citrus, hops, caramel, doughy grainy malt and spicy fruit aroma. The high carbonation and yeastiness with hints of honey and tropical fruity flavours produces a tingling intense sweet sour bitter start. A freshly brewed bottle of this beer is truly a unique experience.
