Its color is a hazy straw hue, but it is not a wheat brew trying to be a pilsner. The head is huge and commendably tenacious. It has a fine, tighly-knit pure white head. It is unfiltered as the name suggests, and this is evident in its appearance and in the nose. The nose is highly phenolic, with a big fruity boquet that is dominated by banana and apples to a lesser extent. Also typical of hefes, cloves are evident, but not as distinct as in other representatives. On the palate, the fruitiness is confirmed as is the clove character.
