Haandbryggeriet are four beer lovers and friends committed to brewing the best beers they can imagine. Brewing incredibly small batches in their spare time they produce two different ranges. One draws on popular global styles (such as Pale Ale, Porter, Imperial Stout) and one recreates/reinterprets traditional Norwegian brewing.
Haandbic
Brewed in the style of a traditional Belgian lambic, Haandbic is fermented with bacteria and various wild yeasts. The fermentation takes place in oak barrels, and lasts almost 18 months. Red currents and cranberries are added to the barrels to give flavour and colour. Softer and far more approachable then it’s Belgian brethren, Haandbic is funky, complex and highly refreshing.
