Since Pilsner Urquell was first brewed by Czech Bohemians in 1842, the pale lager has been unrivalled in terms of production and popularity worldwide. Saddened by this dominance, BrewDog have created a satisfyingly light yet complex Schwarzbier – a dark lager brewed in the ancient German/Czech tradition. Not at all burnt or bitter (flavours many people associate with dark beers), Zeitgeist is slightly nutty with hints of mocha and caramel, and is sure to appeal to lovers of dark and light beers alike.
Remember, we can usually fit up to 20 beers into each delivery carton. Want to try the above beer but not sure what else to choose? Why not try our special Around the World in Twenty Beers Pack. Brewed in the style of a traditional Belgian lambic, Haandbic is fermented with bacteria and various wild yeasts. The fermentation takes place in oak barrels, and lasts almost 18 months. Red currents and cranberries are added to the barrels to give flavour and colour. Softer and far more approachable then it’s Belgian brethren, Haandbic is funky, complex and highly refreshing!
